My Journey of Resilience
Growing up in the theatre, I learned early on that real strength comes from falling down and picking yourself back up, sometimes with help and sometimes just by sheer will. My roots are woven around rehearsals, opening nights, set strikes, and baby sitters. My mom, Zoaunne, always encouraged a spirit of curiosity and kindness, while my dad, Rex, showed me what steady determination looks like, day in and day out.
I believe resilience is not just a trait you're born with, but something you can build, day by day, through tests both big and small. Each setback - whether it was a business hiccup or a personal challenge - turned into a stepping stone, giving me a fresh perspective and a lot of humility. For me, the better your resilience - the ability to overcome and get started again - the more successful you'll be.
Life has taught me that transparency and honesty open doors to deeper relationships and new growth. It's never really about having all the answers, but about being open to the journey and trusting in your ability to adapt. That's the foundation of everything I do, for myself and my family. My aim is always for visitors here to feel welcomed, understood, and inspired to see their own resilience in a new light. If you connect with that, I invite you to join in, ask questions, and share your story too.
